In July 2017, hosted by VIPARIS, the Leading Centres of Europe gathered in Paris to celebrate the French National Bastille Day to enjoy its prestigious and long-awaited ceremonies.
The group, composed of 15 Europeans directors of associations as well as the 10 European leading conference centers and, was welcomed by the VIPARIS’ partner AccorHotel at the Sofitel Baltimore, located at a close 4-minute walk from the Trocadéro. A welcome dinner followed, in a private house with two private chefs to (re)discover the typical French cuisine.
On Bastille Day, the participants enjoyed a surprising and entertaining tour of Paris aboard the world famous French Citroen 2CV cars. The group was then able to visit the new Paris Convention Centre, scheduled to open in November 2017, during the last stage of its renovations. At night, the group enjoyed an exceptional and prestigious evening at the Paris Mayor’s official grandstand, overlooking the Champs de Mars. The Radio France orchestra performed a unique concert followed by a spectacular 45-min firework, set off from the Eiffel tower.
An annual prestigious and spectacular celebration yet impossible to forget and a once in a lifetime experience !
