Inaugural IAPCO & LCE Collaborative Event in Stockholm

The first ever workshop jointly organised by the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) and the Leading Centres of Europe (LCE) took place at Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm, Sweden, on 20-22 March, 2023.

During this collaborative event, 24 delegates (14 from IAPCO and 10 from LCE) gathered for 2,5 days under the theme “Rethinking and reshaping new business models for success”. Oscar Cerezales from MCI had created an extensive programme and guided the participants through every step of the workshop together with the moderator Bob Empson.

The group also enjoyed a Nobel Prize dinner at the City Hall and learned more about the history of the prestigious award, founded in Stockholm in 1901.

The feedback from the workshop was very positive. Among other things, it increased the understanding for each other’s business models and encouraged innovative ideas. It was decided that the success should be repeated in Glasgow the following year.
